Charleigh has her usual Gallery Shows, some more interesting than others. A costume or two attracts attention, and the results are successful shows. A little marketing goes a long way.

Charleigh and Aidan are experiencing some issues with their magical powers, which are leading to some remarkable discoveries. Charleigh is beginning to show her power. And it is an incredible power.

However, with the increase in magical abilities comes confusion and indecision. If she doesn't use the magic as it presents itself, it builds up, and she ends up looking for a release elsewhere, usually in the bedroom. That creates distractions and anxiety that Charleigh doesn't need.

Aidan also finds himself beginning to manifest his own abilities, which surprises him, as he has been through this before. Now he's going through it again. The situation catches them off guard as they go through a cycle of magical manifestation, increased magical abilities, and hot nights in the bedroom.

This continues for a couple of months and then settles down. Charleigh and Aidan feel that the magic has finished its manifestation, and everything is returning to normal.

Then Charleigh gets a phone call from Daine. A lightning storm starts a fire in her house. Charleigh is going through emotional turmoil and feels like she's losing herself.

What comes next are decisions about the house and their relationship. She wants to marry Aidan once her father returns. But their lifestyles and now another tragedy cause confusion, and she is forced to decide on her living arrangements with Aidan. Add to that Martin's new decision to change jobs, and Aidan is at a loss as to what he should do.

Charleigh is still worried about her father. When will he return home? Will he be upset about the house? Will he come home before she decides not to wait any longer for the wedding?

Charleigh wants her life to return to normal. But what is normal for others is not normal for her. Charleigh is growing, as an artist and as an Elf. Will she be able to pick up the pieces and create a new home and life for herself and Aidan?
